About the employer
Accountants practice offering a wide range of accounting, auditing and taxation services. Here at Franklin Underwood, we pride ourselves on our strong work ethic, which helps us stand out from the rest as a dedicated and caring professional accountancy firm. We work from our purpose built premises in Pride Park, just outside of Derby city centre, to provide a comprehensive range of accountancy, auditing, and tax compliance and planning. Franklin Underwood is a five partner firm, established in 1992 by Collin Franklin, who was joined by Gary Underwood in 1999 and Richard Green in 2012. More recently in 2016 Edina Burns and Lisa Gray have been appointed partners. Over the years, the firm has experienced extensive success and has grown to take on more and more clients from a diverse range of circumstances. We are dedicated to maintaining a successful team and the key to that is our commitment to the professional development of our staff. We ensure that our team works well together, complementing each other’s disciplines and expertise, to ensure that we have a broad technical appreciation of every area and aspect of accountancy. That way, we can provide a full, professional and reliable service. This enables Franklin Underwood to identify specific opportunities and potential pitfalls in areas such as taxation as an integral part of the on-going accounts production function. Our proactive approach is always highly valued with our clients, and is repeatedly acknowledged as the single feature that sets Franklin Underwood apart from its more departmentalised competitors.
