About the employer

Welcome to the home of Rewinds & J. Windsor, one of the largest independently owned electric motor and rotating equipment repairers in the UK. From mechanical and electrical repairs to electrical manufacturing and sales, at Rewinds & J. Windsor we have been setting the standards for engineering solutions for over 60 years. Established in 1946 by J I Windsor the company originally focused on ship repairs, as was the demand at the time, but quickly grew and expanded to electric motor repairs and land-based industrial repairs. Since then our rapid expansion has seen us become one of the UK’s largest, most experienced and most trusted electrical and mechanical repairs companies. Operating across three sites and servicing the whole of the UK and Ireland we now offer not only mechanical and electrical repairs and maintenance services, but also manufacturing and custom builds, and an online store for new product sales of electric motors, pumps and more Right from the conception of the company our main aim has been to support businesses in numerous industries including manufacturing and power generation with their electric motor and rotating equipment repairs and maintenance. We pride ourselves on delivering our engineering services quickly, efficiently and to the highest quality, so that our customers can in turn focus on delivering their services to their customers. The back bone of our business has always been electrical and mechanical repairs. This is where we started and this is where we continue to excel. A support team consisting of mechanical, balancing and electronics departments also means that we are to complete all repairs under one roof and this level of control lets us ensure that only the very highest standards are applied throughout all processes.
