About the job role:

You will be part of the Automation Team working in the Automation Workshop. The workshop is responsible for wiring, assembling and testing electrical panels for automatic sliding gates, swing gates and barriers.

This is largely a practical role. A high standard of work is essential. There will be opportunities to assist field engineers onsite to see completion of installation and builds that would begin in the workshop.

Desired skills

The ability to work well in a team and be able to follow instructions. The candidate will need to be self-motivated and able to complete tasks within set time frame.

Personal qualities

The successful applicant will need be a minimum of 18 years of age due to Health & Safety restrictions on site.

Qualifications required

5 GCSEs at A*-C, including English and Maths(or equivalent).

Future prospects

Potential to progress onto a full time workshop technician or automation field engineer, on successful completion of their apprenticeship.
