    Wages explained

    The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
    Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
    The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

To work in a warehouse post covering all aspects of working in a warehouse effectively from:

  • Receipt of goods to dispatch of goods
  • Picking orders and stock control
  • To learn all aspects of stock control which will include cycle counting
  • Control of excess and obsolescence and stock management
  • Assisting with changes within the warehouse
  • To learn all aspects of the internal stock system works (after training)

  • You will reliable and be of smart appearance as this is an office based role

Qualifications required

  • Due to the nature of this role, we are ideally looking for applications from candidates with Grades C or above in Maths & English at GCSE level or equivalent

The company are keen to make a permanent offer of employment subject to successful completion of the apprenticeship
