The candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

  • Vehicle registrations
  • Invoicing
  • Organising paperwork
  • Handling finance agreements
  • Using online systems
  • Updating the website
  • Taking photos of and advertising vehicles
  • Organising purchases
  • Keeping on top of vehicle tax and rate changes
  • Taking post to the post office

The candidate may have the opportunity to attend trade shows in the 2018 show season such as CarFest, International Dirt Bike Show and more.

We are ideally looking for someone who has an interest in some form of off-road sports, whether that be mountain biking, motocross, enduro, jet skiing or quad biking. This is not essential.

You may need to use your car at times (if you have one) to take things to the post office A car is not required but is desirable. Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is £3.50 per hour from 1st April 2017. This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship. For apprentices 19 or over who have completed their first year and are continuing their apprenticeship, the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The wage for Apprentices applies to both time spent on the job plus time spent training.

Derbyshire Off Road Centre is an off-road sports dealership that specialises in the sale of new and used quad bikes, side by sides, motocross bikes, enduro bikes and jet skis. We are a small business that has grown rapidly over the last 2 years. We have just taken on a fifth main franchise which has increased the need for additional staff members to help us with the ever-growing workload.
