About the employer
From our office on the outskirts of Hull, we offer support to anyone who requires care and support within their own home. All of our Care Workers and staff are thoroughly screened and checked before they start work for Caremark (East Riding). Employing over 300 staff, we are also an approved provider of care for East Riding of Yorkshire Council.
We also have a number of privately-funded clients who wish to remain in their own homes and retain their independence, rather than having to move into residential care.
The apprenticeship is made up of the combined diploma, Employment Rights and Responsibilities workbook and Functional Skills in English, Maths and ICT.
Training will be delivered through workbooks and the option of e-learning modules to gain the basic underlying principles of working within a business environment. Support will be given through workshops with a designated tutor, and through regular work-based visits where you will build your portfolio of evidence.
There is an expectation that written work will be completed in your own time.
