  • Co-ordinate and maintain records, including inputting data using a variety of different software such as spreadsheets and databases.
  • Provide administrative support including: Answer, screen and transfer incoming telephone calls.
  • Photocopying, fax, mailing.
  • Open, sort and distribute incoming correspondence.
  • Maintain office supplies such as stationery.
  • Receive and direct visitors.
  • Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos and emails.
  • Schedule and co-ordinate meetings, appointments, attendance at events and training.
  • Take notes or minutes of meetings; record, compile, transcribe and distribute minutes, action points or other notes.
  • Maintain electronic and hard copy records and filing systems and retrieve documents and information as needed.
  • Respond to requests for information and data.

  • IT skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office.

  • A good standard of literacy and numeracy equivalent to GCSE English and Maths.

Applicants need to be aware that they will be working in a busy environment and it is a physically demanding job role. You may be required to work varying shifts to include working evenings, weekends and bank holidays. Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is £3.50 per hour from 1st April 2017. This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship. For apprentices 19 or over who have completed their first year and are continuing their apprenticeship, the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.
