    Wages explained

    The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
    Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
    The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

Duties will include:-

  • Assisting the Chef with the preparation of a range of menu items
  • Prepare & cook fresh foods to a consistently high standard
  • Clean and maintain the kitchen and prep areas throughout the shift including dish washing
  • Ensure the freshness of stock by correct labelling and stock rotation
  • Maintain stock levels by placing food orders as required
  • Continue to apply a high level of quality, cleanliness and hygiene and attain the required certificates for food handling
  • Helping out in other areas including front of house as and when required

This role will require you to work split shifts on a regular basis and weekend working, therefore please look into your travel arrangements before applying.
