About the employer

Pin Mill is a textile company set up in 1952, it abandoned manufacturing here in the 1970s and began importing textiles, mainly bed linen, from Portugal. When that became too expensive in the 1990s, it turned to Bangladesh and Pakistan. This is a family run business that supplies textiles and linen to the UK and Irish markets. Their products are largely made in the Far East (China) and they have a number of contracts with large retailers across the country and in Ireland.
