Day-to-day duties will include:

  • Ensuring that correspondence items are actioned and that customers accounts are accurately updated.
  • Managing your own workload to ensure that all team KPIs are achieved each month and no errors occur.
  • Ensuring that you meet and maintain Angel Advance's high quality standards.
  • Prioritising correspondence based on importance and is is correctly handled.
  • Allocating correspondence to Customer files on Debtsolv Sorting.

Qualifications required

The ideal candidate will already have a qualification is Customer Service and at least 5 GCSE's grades C or above (includeding Maths and English).

Future prospects

Starting salary for the Apprenticeship is £7,800 for the first year, but may be increased depending on performance. On completion of the apprenticeship, depending on performance, you may progress into a full time role at Angel Advance.

Things to consider

The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year. The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over. Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

You will need to have a real desire for wanting to develop and learn, and be committed in completing the apprenticeship. Support will always be on hand throughout your journey, and you will start on the basic tasks of completing client post, conversing through emails and booking appointments over the phone. As you gain confidence throughout the course additional tasks will be introduced, such as courtesy calls, answering queries, logging feedback, completing welcome calls, and so on.
