    Wages explained

    The current National Minimum Wage rates are £4.05 an hour for 16 - 17 year olds, £5.60 an hour for 18 - 20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship(usually one day per week).

    30 hours -5 days from 7- shifts between 7.30am&6pm. On a Friday or a private function you may be required to work up until 11pm occasionally

The Custom Café is a Bespoke American Road Café, hosting special events. We are looking to grow our menu and clientele and require an Apprentice Kitchen Assistant/Cook. In this role your duties will include; 

• To work in the kitchen helping with preparation of food;
• Keeping kitchen clean and tidy;
• Helping the head chef as necessary;
• Stock rotation;
• Take in delivery's;
• Close kitchen when necessary.

As an Apprentice you will be included on a Hospitality Qualification. Your Qualification will be delivered by an Award Winning Training Provider who will support your learning and development throughout your Apprenticeship. This will involve a Vocational Learning Advisor coming to visit you on a regular basis to deliver the training and guide you through your Apprenticeship.
