We are an organic beef and lamb farm with a busy kitchen, serving food to guests from all over the country. 

Our events range from feast nights, weddings and private functions.  Our cooking style is centred around wood fire, with various wood fired grills, bbqs, smoking pits etc. 

We use the fantastic beef and lamb from the farm, butchered ourselves and cooked whole if and where possible, cooked in front of the guests, served centre of the table to share in a feast style.  We do a lot of butchery ourselves, make all products ourselves, varying from ice cream, bread, all desserts and pasta. Role includes:

  • Grilling/BBQ
  • Butchery
  • Making Ice Creams
  • Making Breads
  • Making Desserts
  • Making Pasta

Our team of chefs have a diverse range of knowledge and are more than happy to share this with like minded people.

There are exciting opportunities for the right individual and we offer a varied roll from butchery training, work placements with other likeminded business and top chefs in Cornwall.

Things to consider

Driving license would be great but not essential. We are in a slightly remote location. The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year. The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over. About the employer

Family run farm that provides a unique venue / wedding location. The Produce from the farm is integral to our busy kitchen, where our chefs create feasts influenced by their surroundings – using the best of what’s available from the fields, hedgerows, kitchen garden or larder. Their organic produce is now reared, butchered, cured and consumed on the farm.
