    Wages explained

    The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
    Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
    The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

    Monday - Friday 8.30am - 6:00pm. Hours vary on different days between these times. (TBC by employer)

You will be working closely with the company directors and the office manager to ensure all administration in the company is adhered to. This is a varied role due and to the fast paced nature of the business, we are looking for someone with a positive attitude and a pro-active approach to tasks.

Duties include:

  • Dealing with telephone and email enquiries.
  • Using a variety of software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel etc to produce correspondence and documents.
  • Liaising with consultants and staff to complete tasks.
  • Creating company social media posts and articles.
  • Creating and posting regular company blogs.
  • Update company records and documents.
