This will include but not be limited to social media, digital marketing, search engine optimisation (SEO), and video and animation production.

What you’ll be doing:

  • The main purpose of the role will be to promote Rochdale Borough Council through social media and other digital marketing channels.
  • Manage Rochdale Borough Council social media profiles such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Instagram.
  • Develop and maintain social media profiles for Rochdale Borough Council.
  • Build followers and increase engagement across all social media platforms.
  • Develop new ideas to promote Rochdale Borough Council using digital platforms.
  • Carry out Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).
  • Use SEO activities to increase traffic to the council’s websites.
  • Image editing – cropping, resizing, other Photoshop work.
