About the employer

The nursery opened in 2010 and we offer full time and part time nursery care for children aged from three months, to when children leave us to start school. Our hours are Monday to Friday between 8.00am and 6.00pm all year round, apart from bank holidays and Christmas. We are a small nursery, with a large garden, with plenty of space for our children to explore and we aim to provide a positive, friendly, stimulating and healthy environment for all children. Green Dragon Nursery has a high staff to child ratio, looking after six babies and fourteen pre-schoolers on a typical day. This means that our children have a high level of interaction and individual attention, to ensure our children feel secure and happy, away from their parent, a home from home. The team, led by Elena Halepas are fully trained, holding the required EYFS childcare qualifications, in First Aid, Health and Safety, SENCO and Child Protection. We work closely with parents/carers, and our staff plan activities to meet your child's individual needs. We have plenty of toys and books to offer stimulating play and a wide range of activities, planned within the Ofsted Early Years Framework, including Tiny Mites Music class weekly which provides music and movement for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers. We are able to offer the extra support required by children whose first language isn't English and also are qualified to support children with special educational needs. We will give you plenty of updates about your child's progress, both formally and informally, to make sure you are not missing out on those important milestones. Meet some of our little ones. We take lots of pictures to help you to share their days with us.
