A full time apprentice is required in our Management Information department to maintain various databases; create process documents and co-ordinate information flows with internal departments. The apprentice will learn how to use popular business software as well as our own internal software applications to record, monitor and analyse system process performance. The individual will produce reports to highlight improvements to the company's data quality to ensure that the current business models optimise sales opportunities.

This role will receive mentoring and training to help develop a high level of business admin skills. This individual will:

  • Work on projects to improve and maintain a high level of content and accuracy within our existing databases to meet established company targets and timescales.
  • Produce communications to other departments of any system and information changes to ensure that all staff are keep up to date with the latest news and product details.
  • Work within a proactive team where delivering efficient business solutions quickly is the team's priority.
  • Contribute to the up keep of key business data to maximise data accuracy, sales opportunities and process flows within the company's ERP system.
  • Maintain and distribute management information to the key stakeholders in the business within agreed timescales.
  • Improve the quality of existing company product data (including descriptions, categories and images) using multiple information sources to achieve the highest level of accuracy.
  • Enjoy making a difference and being part of a successful team, where ideas are encouraged to raise standards in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications required

Grade C Maths and English GCSE or equivalent. Lower grades will be considered on completion

Future prospects

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to progress within a dynamic and rapidly growing company. A full time position could be offered at the end of apprenticeship (based on performance).

Things to consider

The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year. The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over. Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
