Ten Green Bottles are looking for an enthusiastic, strong minded, mature and level headed person to train as a supervisor.


Working very closely with the owner to learn:

  • The day – to –day running of a business
  • Recruitment
  • Staff development, training and appraisals
  • Carrying out risk assessments and mandatory health & safety compliance for the business
  • Payroll and employee paperwork
  • Marketing
  • Sourcing stock, liaising and negotiating with suppliers
  • Managing stock levels
  • Creating rota’s by forward planning and reacting to daily variables

You will also work alongside the Operations Manager to:

  • Serve customers on the floor
  • Train staff using the barista
  • Ensure daily and weekly tasks are carried out to the required standards
  • Supervise staff when the Manager is off
  • Ensure stock is correctly rotated and to customer requirements
  • Set up the till and cash up
  • Resolve customer complaints
  • Carry out staff training
  • Ensure the coffee shop is always clean, tidy and presentable
  • Delegate tasks effectively to team members

This is a fantastic opportunity that can lead into a full time management position. A driver is desirable to be able to travel between the Mansfield and Retford sites.


Applicants will be required to attend an Assessment Centre with Vision Apprentices as part of the screening process.

GCSE Grades A to C or equivalent are essential, specifically Maths and English. 2017 grading system, grade 9 – grade 4

An apprenticeship is an on the job learning programme that allows you, the apprentice, to earn a wage, gain valuable work experience and industry specific competence. As part of your apprenticeship and dependent on your prior attainment you may be required to complete Maths, English and ICT Functional Skills which are an integral part of your apprenticeship.   Upon successful completion you will be awarded additional certificates of recognition.
