What you’ll be doing:

The Apprentice Application Software Engineer contributes to effective incident, problem, change, release, and asset and data management of the Applications team at Agilisys.

The role holder will assist in maintaining an excellent experience for users of Agilisys supported applications, both Commercial off the shelf and internally developed, whilst assisting in ensuring that applications continue to meet business needs and exploit technology opportunities.

Requirements and prospects

  • You have knowledge of basic software development, applications and their purpose, technology and its uses
  • You’re self-motivated, with good attention to detail
  • You’re analytical and enjoy problem-solving

Personal qualities

  • You have good writing skills – able to write structured reports (evidence of previous written work will be requested at interview).
  • You’re proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • You can manage own time, able to multi-task

Qualifications required

  • You have English Language GCSE minimum grade C or equivalent
  • You have Mathematics GCSE minimum grade C or equivalent
  • You have Information Technology related GCSE minimum grade C or equivalent
