    Wages explained

    The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
    Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
    The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

    7.30am - 5.30pm on a rota to include weekend work. Breaks: 10am and 3pm - 15mins Lunch: 12.30 or 1.30

Things to consider

We all have to climatise to work in all weather, some days are not as fun as others. So you would need to be dedicated to your role You must be able to get to work including weekends so own transport ideal Important Other Information: It is a requirement that all learners with a start date on or after 01 May 2017 must receive 20% of their training off the job. Training on the Apprenticeships Programme for 16 to 18 year olds is a priority and fully-funded by Government. Training for Apprenticeships for those over this age is part funded, with employers expected to make a part or full contribution From April 1st 2017 the National Minimum Wage (NMW) for Apprentices is £3.50 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old Apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other Apprentices the National Minimum Wage appropriate to their age applies. About the employer
