You will be working alongside existing staff and be mentored and trained to carry out the following duties:

  • Hardware and Software installation, including set up of new PCs, laptops & supporting office moves
  • Ensure the day to day running of your project tasks is managed effectively, meeting all given deadlines
  • Deal with all customer enquiries promptly and professionally
  • Report progress and technical problems of all projects and tasks to the Infrastructure Manager, Project Manager and Lead Engineers where relevant
  • Manage the stock of all hardware and replenishment of used items

Future prospects

Upon completion of the 12 month programme, there are real progression opportunities available. Along with your employer, you may decide to progress onto our level 4 programme and take your training even further.

Things to consider

The Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): From April 2017 the ANMW was set at £3.50 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.
