Vacancy full description: This will include marketing plan development, direct and indirect marketing, press release production and liaison with the press, social media marketing (including Facebook, Twitter, website, LinkedIn), events co-ordination, communications with local community groups, monitoring of industry and political developments, planning meetings (with healthcare sector leaders, local and national politicians), and liaison with Head office and our marketing suppliers. We have deployed modern marketing techniques so this is a great opportunity for the right candidate to learn about marketing and PR and the role of social media in the healthcare sector.

Pay: £200 per week

Qualifications required:GCSE (or equivalent) ; Maths, English, ICT (or Science) Grade C or above

Any important other information:

The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year. The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over. Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

The National Minimum Wage (NMW) for Apprentices is �3.50 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old Apprentices and those aged over 19 in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other Apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.
