The facilities here are among the best in the South East and way too good to stand idle. We opened our stable doors to full liveries in March 2016 under the management of a professional rider and BHSII trainer with 25 years experience within the equine industry - You will certainly learn from the best!

We are looking for two hardworking apprentices to join our busy and professional team to learn the ropes of the equine industry and to take pride in the highest quality of equine care to go along with our ethos "treat every livery as if it were your own horse".

We offer full livery packages which are tailored to the clients requirements as well as extra services including lessons with BHSII trainer, schooling, show preparation.

General duties will include some of the following;

  • Muck out and skip out
  • Turn out
  • Hay and feed
  • Shavings
  • Use of all facilities including all arenas
  • Hot wash and horse walker
  • Brush off and  feet picked
  • Full grooming
  • Riding for the right candidates

Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

Some horse care experience is preferable for this position

Personal qualities

Successful candidates will have an ambition to succeed within the equine industry and willing willing to work hard to gain more opportunites.

Future prospects

Full time employment upon completion.

Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is £3.50 per hour from 1st April 2017. This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship. For apprentices 19 or over who have completed their first year and are continuing their apprenticeship, the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.
