Main role/ responsibilities 
You will be involved with customer work from the start and you will: 
•    Promote the business through social media and Email campaigns
•    You will be tasked with sending out mailshots to potential clients to generate sales
•    There will be particular audiences that you will be asked to target for specific products in the business
•    Design collateral for customers on the companies range of products and send out portfolios
•    There are two arms of the business, therefore you will be required to take ownership of both and market the business in different ways to support the products
•    This will be a proactive role and once you have completed specific training from the course, you will be tasked start putting your experience into practise

3 x GCSE (or equivalent) at grades A-C in any subject plus GCSE English and Maths (or equivalents) at grade D or above

Future prospects

92% of QA Apprentices secure permanent employment after finishing their apprenticeship. Additionally there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programs offer on-going development tracks.

Important Information “QA’s apprenticeship programmes may be funded in part by the European Union through the European Social Fund, which supports the development of employment opportunities and a skilled workforce.” The Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): From April 2017 the ANMW was set at £3.50 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.

Training provider

Approximately 12% of training takes place in the QA learning centre classroom. 8% is done in the workplace, through workplace units, face-to-face meetings with your QA Assessor, or developing your portfolio. The remaining time will be spent on your workplace activity.
