  • Maintaining a safe, hygienic and secure working environment
  • Work effectively as a part of a hospitality team
  • Deliver great Customer service face to face and telephone enquiries
  • Serve customers a range of fresh food and maintain a high standard of service and delivery at all times.
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic drinks (cocktails) including wines and soft drinks
  • Prepare and serve dispensed and instant hot drinks
  • Receive, store and issue drinks stock.
  • Resolve customer problems
  • Deal with payments
  • Assist with table layup and clearing
  • Promote additional services and products

Qualifications required: GCSE (or equivalent) ; Maths, English, ICT (or Science) Grade C or above

Any important other information: 

The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year. The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over. Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

New family owned caf� based in Hayes Town, we are situated next to Hayes and Harlington Rail station and 2 min walking distance to Hayes Town. We currently offer breakfast, lunch and dinner specifically within the Turkish and Italian cuisines. Breakfasts includes Omelettes, sandwiches, daily specials. Drinks include tea, coffee, milkshakes and alcoholic beverages.

Training provider

On the job training which includes knowledge on special kebabs and preparing Turkish starters.

Full on the job training to be provided and one day a week college attendance for underpinning knowledge. Candidate will work towards a full Level 2 apprenticeship in Food and Beverage Service functional skills, and end-point assessment.
