Vacancy full description: 

  • Maintaining a safe, hygienic and secure working environment
  • Working effectively as part of a hospitality team
  • Preparing fresh dishes including Lasagne, Panini, Sandwiches, Kebabs, Kofta, Mezes, Pasta and Pizza and basic breakfasts.
  • Maintain food safety when storing, preparing and cooking food.
  • Produce basic starters, salads and desserts for Turkish and Italian Cuisine
  • Maintain an efficient use of food and kitchen resources
  • Prepare, operate and clean specialist food preparation and cooking equipment.

Pay: 180 per week

New family owned caf� based in Hayes Town, we are situated next to Hayes and Harlington Rail station and 2 min walking distance to Hayes Town. We currently offer breakfast, lunch and dinner specifically within the Turkish and Italian cuisines. Breakfasts includes Omelettes, sandwiches, daily specials. Drinks include tea, coffee, milkshakes and alcoholic beverages.

Training provider

On the job training which includes knowledge on special kebabs.

Full on the job training to be provided and one day a week college attendance for underpinning knowledge. Candidate will work towards a full Level 2 apprenticeship in Professional Cookery functional skills, and end-point assessment.

The National Minimum Wage (NMW) for Apprentices is �3.50 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old Apprentices and those aged over 19 in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other Apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.
