    Wages explained

    The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
    Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
    The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

    Working hours will be 9:00 am – 5:30 pm (with 30 min lunch) We will need to confirm the total working hours per week when we know the college hours for the 20-week days release

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated individual who will be able to provide administrative support to the Recruitment Consultants, Administration Assistant and Financial Controller.

We feel this post would suit an organised individual with excellent communication skills who would thrive working within a busy office environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for covering reception, meeting and greeting visitors and assisting with the day to day administration duties. In addition, they will assist with completing right to work checks, chasing references and keeping the office tidy. You will provide an effective administration is key to supporting the Recruitment Consultants and managing the KHM candidates

  • Key responsibilities: Covering reception, meeting and greeting visitors, assisting with telephone enquiries, keeping the office tidy, data entry, diary management, manging meeting room bookings, filing, supporting the Office Administrator and Financial Controller, data entry, right to work checks, chasing references

Future prospects

If the duration of the Apprenticeship goes well then we would look at taking the Apprentice on full time.

Things to consider

20 days per annum holiday entitlement (January – December) You may need to do some college work in your own time. How will you get to college and how much will it cost? CRC bus routes, pick up points, route numbers, times and bus pass charges are available on CRC's transport page.
