Engineering Apprentice Adray Plastics
Engineering Apprentice required to learn many sides of engineering. This position involves Milling, turning, drilling bending, welding, routering and CNC work.

The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

Intermediate Level Apprenticeship
This company are looking for an enthusiastic, bright and eager apprentice to join an exciting busy family business to learn many sides of engineering.
They want someone who is willing to learn and produce various types of work to a high standard as expected by their real customers.

Before the Apprentice you will be required to do a pre-apprenticeship programme at Lema Academy, 2 days a week for 6 weeks where you will achieve Btec level 1 in engineering.
The Apprenticeship will be delivered at Lema Academy based at Lower Tower Street, Birmingham, B19 3NH.
