    Wages explained

    The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
    Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
    The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

Megaplay is a family owned soft play centre in Garforth, our unique and extensive play area has activities for all ages, including the designated 0-2years baby sensory area, an under 4’s toddler area. A large open structure including a 4m wavy slide, sky glides, cargo nets, a tunnel slide, sport zone providing an enclosed arena for football and basketball plus many more features for under 12’s, alongside the quad go-karts in our specially designed race track. We also have a café on site serving both adult and children’s food and hot and cold drinks. In addition we have 3 party rooms allowing us to cater for up to 12 children’s parties a day.

Training provider

Full on-the-job training and support will be provided to enable the successful applicant to undertake the full range of duties required of the role.

In addition, training will also be provided towards the Apprenticeship in Customer Service Level 2 through in house delivery.

The Customer Service Level 2 consists of the following:

  • Level 2 NVQ in Customer Service
  • Technical Certificate
  • Employment Rights and Responsibilities
  • Functional Skills in Literacy and Numeracy

Full training will be provided by an existing member of staff in each area of the business alongside
