    Wages explained

    The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
    Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
    The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

  • Working in a kitchen cooking and preparing fresh food on a daily basis
  • Assisting with tapas and music nights when needed.
  • Helping create new menus for music nights and daytime menu.
  • general cleaning of the kitchen and helping with stock checks.

This is a vocational job, so you will need to want to do this type of work. There will be long hours as well as the pressure to work well and fast in in the kitchen but in return you will get a solid Job with us and grow as we grow our company. The hospitality industry is a fun industry to be part of, however it can be hard and demanding work. You will be physically active most of the time and may be expected to work evenings and some weekends. You should think about your location and whether you can get to and from your place of work, particularly if working shifts.
