A proactive team player who is able to work under pressure to multiple deadlines, prioritise workloads and with the minimum supervision, you’ll be computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Excel in particular - and excellent numerical, communication and administrative skills and be eager to participate in learning events and undertake self-learning to develop your career,

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring and optimising campaigns in Google AdWords and Bing ads
  • Independently carrying out keyword research
  • Writing ad copy
  • Analysis and evaluation of data
  • Creating weekly reports using Excel pivot tables
  • Getting to know your client’s market, competitors, marcom mix and relevant media platforms, understanding and reading relevant research sources and demonstrating a practical and experience-led understanding and working knowledge of the digital marketing environment and how it applies to our clients
  • Taking a digital media brief, identifying the relevant approach and drafting relevant materials and evaluating the effect of campaigns as a whole and the media contribution, demonstrating a sound understanding of the advertising development process and how to apply it with your clients
  • Actively contributing and taking part in creative solutions, seeking out new and creative methods that can offer real difference, developing a solid understanding of the full briefing process and what is needed from both the client and internal teams
  • Preparing and updating lists and reports, background research for briefs, pitches or presentations, ensuring clients are kept updated on media market place changes, working towards exceeding Key Performance Indicators and managing and issuing status reports and timing plans as required
  • Gaining an understanding of agency financial management, understanding the remuneration contracts of your accounts, providing accurate quotes as required, tracking systems and data, sharing information with relevant people/teams and regularly monitoring progress and costs to ensure jobs are scheduled on time and budget
  • Developing strong relationships in team and wider agency with key contacts, key clients and relevant external suppliers and third parties, and demonstrating a cooperative spirit and contributing to a positive and supportive working environment
  • Prioritising your workload and time effectively to meet deadlines, identifying problems early and alerting relevant people as they arise, supporting the digital production and creative process, responding promptly to client requests and managing expectations, and maintaining and managing all administrative elements of your role (e.g. systems for clients, filing systems, job numbers and associated information, timesheet completion, proof-reading documents or presentations for clients, preparing client meetings)
  • Working closely with other teams in client services, developing effective relationships with other departments and digital teams with a basic understanding of what they do and how they do it
  • Keeping abreast of marketing trends and innovations and understanding how to apply these to the client work you are delivering, being conversant in basic digital technology and contributing to the overall digital media plan, and applying cultural and language awareness across all client campaigns, ensuring translations are appropriate and effective for the region/country and language

  • At least 5 grade A*- C GCSEs or equivalent including English and Maths
  • 3 A levels grades A*- C or equivalent
  • Degree-level preferred, but definitely not essential
