    Wages explained

    The current National Minimum Wage rates are £4.05 an hour for 16 - 17 year olds, £5.60 an hour for 18 - 20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship(usually one day per week).

Duties and responsibilities will vary depending on the department working in, and will vary from learning how to clean and maintain our 4* guest bedrooms and the linen department, to how we look after our guests in the Front Office department, be it helping with luggage or enquiries or checking them into and out of the hotel and taking advanced reservations for bedrooms.

Must be flexible and willing to work shifts and lives within reasonable travel distance due to late nights and early morning shifts.

Well presented, adaptable, willing to have a go at everything and motivated to learn new things.

Future prospects

Progression could be into a specialist full time Receptionist, Concierge, Reservationist or Housekeeper position.
