Richings Park Golf Club are a small friendly brigade seeks an Apprentice Chef to work alongside Head chef.

FULL TRAINING TO BE PROVIDED in the following duties:

  • Assist the Chefs in preparing meals
  • Work as part of the team
  • Attend College and complete your Commis Chef qualification
  • Work to high hygiene and tidy standards
  • Undertaking training as required
  • Maintain a positive and proactive attitude
  • Comply with Health and Safety requirements
  • Perform other duties when assigned
  • Comply with the staff code of conduct
  • Seek to ensure our clients have the best experience possible.

GCSE Grade A to D in English and Maths or equivalent.

Things to consider

Split shift possibilty. From 1st of April 2017 the National Minimum Wage (NMW) rate for apprentices is £3.50 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 or over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. Those between the ages of 19-24 who are in their second year (or third year) need to be paid the National Minimum Wage for their age bracket. In April 2016 the new National Living Wage was implemented and therefore if you are over the age of 25 and in your second or third year of an Apprenticeship you will be entitled to be paid the National Living Wage. Richings Park Golf Club boasts a superb 18 hole, Par 70, 6327 yard golf course, with a state of the art 300 yard Driving Range, a chipping practice area and a putting green.
