About the employer

With 21 years experience, Powercut Hair Studio is the perfect place to offer advice. Anne Marie began her career at 16 on a YTS at what became Regis in Bolton. After working at two more top class salons as an advanced stylist and qualified assessor, she decided to go it alone and open Powercut in Farnworth in 1993, rapidly buidling up her own loyal client base. In fact, Powercut was so popular that in July 2014 she moved to her current, larger salon on Tonge old Road, off Bury Road, which features seperate beauty and nail rooms, as well as great hairdressing facilities. For the past 15 years, Anne Marie has worked happily alongside the talented Imogen Craft, who is also an advanced hair stylist as well as a qualified NVQ hairdressing assessor, and for the past two years, Georgia King has been a hard-working apprentice at the salon. Experiences nail technician Amy Chapman offers the full range of artificial nails. Upstairs is Jacquie Calligan, who is there to permanently and painlessly remove unwanted hair, with SkinFirst multi-pulsed light treatments, which are at the forefront of non-invasive technology.
