    Wages explained

    The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
    Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
    The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

    Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5,30pm with 1 hour for lunch. Working out of hours and weekends will be required periodically

Very simply, you will be learning how to design, manufacture and eventually install a large product portfolio of signage and graphics. Duties will include preparation of graphics, making banners, sign making, fitting vehicle graphics, fitting signs

Qualifications required

English and maths will be required due to the nature of the business. Along with a good understanding of computer programmes and operations. 

Future prospects

The company is independently owned, therefore, there are no restrictions on the career you can have, Wage increases, bonuses, external courses (design, vehicle wrapping, sign installation, driving lessons etc) will made available to a member of staff with a positive attitude, a customer focus and the desire to learn. A full-time position will be available to a successful apprentice. Jobs available could include :- Graphic design, Sign Production and installation, Production Manager, Signage Sales
