    Wages explained

    The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
    Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
    The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

Job Description: Day to day activities and expectations within the role

  • Front of house reception duties inc making/taking calls and greeting clients
  • Data input
  • Filing, photocopying, scanning etc
  • Assisting other staff from time to time
  • General office duties
  • Answering phone calls
  • Dealing with customers at the reception desk
  • Data inputting
  • Report compilation
  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing post
  • Dealing with client information
  • Giving information to customers
  • Responding to customer email enquiries

Essential:

  • Must have good organisational skills
  • Must be able to speak fluent Polish
  • Must have attention to detail
  • Good numerical, IT and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Ability to work under pressure and willingness to accept changing priorities when new jobs need to be completed.
  • Ability to work with people at all levels towards achieving internal and external clients’ and team objectives
  • Previous work experience involving dealing with people is useful but not essential
