Every company needs an efficient team of administrators who can ensure that every customer experience is a positive one. This could be the perfect opportunity for you to join us in Oxford.

Your daily duties will include:

  • Managing customers’ requests in person, on the phone and via written communication, Answer and direct phone calls
  • Coordinate and oversee all office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies
  • Provide general support to visitors
  • Providing customers with information about the company Services
  • Maintain contact lists
  • Develop and maintain a filing system
  • Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)
  • Ensuring confidentiality and data protection is observed at all times.
  • Monitor stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary
  • Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data
  • Other administrative duties required by manager

To be working in a fast paced environment so being organised is paramount. You will be supported throughout your employ through your apprentice provider.

Training to be Provided City & Guilds

You will be working towards an Intermediate/Advanced Apprenticeship in Business & Administration, which will include:

  • Level 2/3 City & Guilds Diploma in Business & Administration
  • Level 1/2  Functional Skills in Maths, English & ICT
  • Personal Learning & Thinking Skills
  • Employer Rights & Responsibilities

Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

The ideal candidate should have basic IT skills and have an excellent telephone manner.

Personal qualities

Needs to have a positive and hardworking attitude with the willingness to progress

Qualifications required

GCSE grade C or above in Maths & English or equivalent desired but not essential.
