    Wages explained

    The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
    Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
    The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

Warehousing Job Description

1.       Packing Items

2.       Picking items

3.       Deliveries inbound

4.       Stock maintenance

5.       General tidying duties

6.       Working with delivery companies to organise despatch of good

7.       Working closely with other departments

8.       Assembling products out of existing stock lines

9.       Regular stock takes

10.   Enhancing and producing new procedures to help increase performance

11.   We are a small company. All staff would be required to help out where needed during busy periods, although each job role is specific, each team member may be required for another task which isn’t in their job description however this will be a rare
