•    Prepare and build PC’s and laptops in line with customers’ needs
•    Install and configure computer devices on customer sites
•    Assist other team members as required

Other duties include:
•    Take inbound calls relating to the company’s products
•    Respond to calls and emails to assist customers in resolving their faults
•    Do online product walkthroughs for Smart systems products like KBBConnect
•    Progress faults with our customers to resolution, focusing to assist our customers to 
•    self-serve
•    Assist in retaining and up selling to new and existing customers
•    Contacting customer that have not been contacted in certain period of time
•    Attend and contribute to regular team meetings and to achieve agreed tasks/actions
•    Pro-actively identify bug fixes and enhancements to the company’s software
•    Effectively process pricelists as requested by your line manager
•    Test new features and products from the SDT for integration in the SMART Systems product portfolio
•    Identify, recommend and implement improvements in the delivery of customer support
•    Develop and maintain a thorough and up-to-date working knowledge of all SMART Systems products and services
•    Provide appropriate documentation for the business where necessary such as FAQs, as requested by your line manager, and contribute to an internal support database
•    Perform all other reasonable duties to assist the company, as requested by your line manager

•    You would need to have a general understanding of computer hardware and software 
•    An appetite to learn quickly
•    Good verbal, written communication skills 
•    Numeracy skills are needed along
•    The ability to communicate with all levels of customers, 3rd parties, staff and management

Qualifications required

6 x GCSE (or equivalent) at grades A-C including Maths plus GCSE English (or equivalent) at grade D or above

Approximately 11% of training takes place in the QA learning centre classroom. 9% is done in the workplace, through online training, face-to-face meetings with your QA Technical Skills Coach, or developing your portfolio. The remaining time will be spent on your workplace activity.
