Duties to include:

  • Answer general phone enquiries using a professional and courteous manner
  • Direct phone enquiries to the appropriate staff members/sub-contractors
  • Reply to general information requests with the accurate information
  • Greet clients/ subcontractors/visitors to the organisation in a professional and friendly manner
  • Create job packs for engineers 
  • Checking all paperwork has been completed
  • Process paperwork Issue purchase orders
  • Match reconciliations against delivery notes/invoices 
  • Liaise with suppliers e.g. chase up suppliers, check on deliveries
  • General administration duties e.g. photocopying, filing etc.
  • Maintain polite and good communication with your colleagues at all times

  • Applicants should have good IT skills and the ability to use a range Microsoft programmes to include Word, Email etc, as well as good keyboard skills
  • Should also have an excellent telephone manner

Qualifications required

This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship.
