Things to consider

We run sessions 7 days a week around the Sheffield area. A position with RuggerEds is malleable to your availability and the demands of your course, we aim to provide as regular a timetable as possible however we remain flexible to the needs of our contractors so weekly changes should be expected. You will be required to complete thorough Code of Conduct and Procedures Training during trial period. Upon completion of a successful interview applicants will be required to complete a 4 week trial in which time applicants will receive various training and coaching opportunities to allow both RuggerEds and the applicant to see if the role is suitable to both company and individual. Successful applicants will initially be paid 4 p/h, this rises as coaches complete various training tasks in line with SportEds Coaching pathway attached Applicants with preferable qualifications mentioned above may receive a higher initial pay rate.

The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year. The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over. Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
