Advanced Level Apprenticeship
You role will consist of:
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Use machine tools such as presses, guillotine, punches
- Use hand and hand machine tools
- Develop pattern development knowledge and skills
- TIG Welding
Requirements and prospects
- You will need to have a keen attention to detail
- Be able to apply logic
- Work in an organised manner and adapt well to changes
- You will also need to be able to show and demonstrate an aptitude for this type of role
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate commitment, be focused, highly motivated and keen to learn
GCSE Grade C and above (or equivalent) in Maths, Science and English

You will work towards an Advanced Apprenticeship in Engineering consisting of:
- National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 3 in Engineering Manufacture
- Technical Certificate
- Functional Skills in English and Maths (If applicable)
- Personal Learning and Thinking Skills (PLTS)
- Employment Rights and Responsibilities (ERR)
