Qualifications required

3 x GCSE (or equivalent) at grades A-C in any subject plus GCSE English and Maths (or equivalents) at grade D or above.

Future prospects

92% of QA Apprentices secure permanent employment after finishing their apprenticeship. Additionally there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programs offer on-going development tracks.

Things to consider

Other Important Information: Working hours: 30 hours a week, to be arranged with applicant. Starting salary is £108 pw (£3.60ph) rising to £120pw (£4ph) after six months. We have a relaxed dress code at Diagrama. Flexible working may be required including, very occasionally, evenings and weekends to cover events. Time off in lieu will be given in these circumstances. Benefits This role offers healthcare scheme membership and 25 days annual leave plus bank holiday (pro rata). The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year. The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over. Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

Approximately 12% of training takes place in the QA learning centre classroom. 8% is done in the workplace, through workplace units, face-to-face meetings with your QA Assessor, or developing your portfolio. The remaining time will be spent on your workplace activity.
