If you have an interest in tyre fitting, especially on larger trucks and plant machinery, this is your opportunity to kick start your career.  If successful, you will be employed by Tanvic Tyres in Newark.

As an Apprentice, you will work alongside an experienced fitter, learning a trade vital to today’s fast paced society.

With most people struggling to find time to get things done, it is extremely important to them, that they have their car, van or truck, back on the road, quickly, efficiently, and to the highest standard.  This is even more important to companies running a fleet of vehicles, as they lose money when vehicles are off the road.

Duties will include;

  • Checking, repairing and replacing all forms of tyres

  • You may also be required to check, repair and replace other minor components
  • Most importantly, dealing with customers

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will gain a Level 2 framework in Vehicle Fitting (Specialist Tyres) qualification, and be a fully qualified Specialist Tyre Fitter.
