The successful candidate will have a rare opportunity to join a growing and very respectable supplies company, supporting the company’s staff with technical hardware software issues, as well as training and development needs. The successful candidate will show an enthusiastic approach to problem solving and data analysis in an array of first line support cases, taking ownership of installation and maintenance.

Candidates should have some experience in IT support or working in a helpdesk environment but this is not essential, as full job training will be given.The successful candidate will be part of the technical team supporting and dealing with first based issues and development of requirements including but not limited to:

  • Computer hardware and Software,
  • Phone systems,
  • Backup monitoring,
  • Network patching,
  • Data extraction, 
  • Report writing.

Reporting to and working alongside the IT manager; Successful candidates must show willingness to work with her on day to day bases. Above all else we are seeking a confident individual that has the potential to learn and grow.

  • Further education or equivalent in IT based education.

Training provider

The Estio Training programme gives young people the opportunity to get hands on experience in the IT industry whilst still employed in a real paid job with no cost or debt.

Learners will receive ten weeks of intensive training. Whilst in the workplace, apprentices will also receive continual assessment, and help and guidance from a dedicated trainer who will be there to ensure that they get the most from their work experience.

This apprenticeship will give you a Level 4 Data Analyst Standard with training in areas such as:

  • Functional skills, Maths L2 and English L2
  • Spreadsheet Software
  • Data Analysis Tools
  • Project Management and Data Analysis
  • Introduction to Data Structures
  • Database Design Concepts
  • Data Analysis Concepts

Some of these modules will include an option to take an examination in order to receive a professional certificate.
