Duties and Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end sales order processing
  • Order picking, packing, & despatching
  • Daily/weekly KPI reports
  • Answering phone & emails, providing a high level of customer service
  • Access to manager and consultant diaries, booking consultations and sales meetings
  • Assisting with stock administration, intakes, and rolling stock checks
  • Assisting with mail outs and marketing
  • Assisting with website administration
  • General office administration: filing, account updates, etc

Requirements and prospects

Qualifications required

Essential: GCSE English and Maths or equivalent.

Desirable: Any hair & beauty qualifications, any ICT qualifications, Driving licence.

Future prospects

For the right candidate we would look to move into the 2nd year of the apprenticeship, progressing to a Level 3 qualification. Ultimately the role could lead to administrator, senior administrator, or stock administrator, depending on the development of the apprentice and needs of the business.

Things to consider

Wage: £3.50 p/h, rising to £4 p/h after induction period. We also offer an attendance/KPI related bonus. The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year. The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over. Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
