    Wages explained

    The current National Minimum Wage rates are £4.05 an hour for 16 - 17 year olds, £5.60 an hour for 18 - 20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship(usually one day per week).

Onesite Solutions specialises in metalwork solutions for manufacturing, industrial, commercial and construction industries. 

The job role includes;

  • Professionally answering of incoming telephone calls within the three-ring period
  • Providing a warm and friendly welcome for all visitors to site and informing relevant staff on arrival
  • Organising, photocopying and scanning documents
  • Gathering/collating information for projects as and when required
  • Corresponding with customers and forwarding company information
  • Booking and recording company transport
  • Liase with customers and suppliers as and when required
  • Raise and complete sales and purchase orders
  • Ensure company procedures are followed to ISO 9001/ 144001 / CE Marketing / Health and Safety
  • Other ad-hoc and covering duties required by the sales and production teams

Training provider

You will receive a combination of on and off the job training to give you the skills, knowledge and understanding to gain a Diploma in Business and Administration. Where you do not have Grades A-C in a relevant subject, you will work towards Functional skills in maths, English and ICT as well as developing your knowledge of employee rights and responsibilities, personal learning, and thinking skills alongside your qualifications

You will be required to undertake off the job training on a day release basis at the nearest Chamber offices a maximum of once a week and minimum of once a month
