Lasershape is offering an exciting role for a candidate passionate to pursue a career in an administration position initially, with the opportunity to progress into other departments and gain a broader knowledge of the business interaction.
This is a varied role working within the sales/estimating, finance and also the planning department. You will gain skills and qualifications to develop key administration duties with the opportunity to excel and progress within the business.

Duties involved within the role will include:

  • Working in the sales/estimating department
  • Inbox/email management
  • Co-ordinating the admin for sales and estimates
  • Sales order processing
  • Working in the finance department, predominantly invoicing and reporting
  • Working within the planning department, once jobs are booked in you will be responsible for co-ordinating and approving for processing
  • Working across all 3 departments gaining broader knowledge of the business interaction
  • Photocopying, filing, scanning
  • Answering the phone and directing calls as appropriate

The post holder will be able to demonstrate strong organisational and team working skills. They will have a good general knowledge of ICT packages and demonstrate a good level of spoken and written literacy.

The current National Minimum Wage (NMW) rate for apprentices is £3.50 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged over 18 in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training. * Please note that anyone under the age of 18 will only work a maximum of 40 hours per week. Any role which exceeds these hours on advert will be amended accordingly to fall in line with the legislation * * Please note if the successful applicant is found prior to the closing date the vacancy maybe withdrawn early* This apprenticeship is work based learning therefore most of the time you will be working at the employer's address.
