The job holder will work in a small team within this electrical wholesale branch. After full training given your responsibilities will include: 

  • Managing stock in and out (to external clients) as well as in store transfers, stock control, picking and packing, recycling and completing the paperwork associated with a busy Warehouse
  • Picking and Packing, Goods in and out
  • Process customer purchases / orders
  • Liaising with other departments
  • Customer payments/ dealing with enquiries over the trade counter
  • Answering the telephone to customers and suppliers

As an Apprentice EDA Apprenticeships Plus will employ the successful candidate on behalf of this branch.

Candidates over 18yrs will receive £210 per week.

Things to consider

Please ensure you give as much detail as possible with your application and check your commute time/method. Some heavy lifting at times. The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year. The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
