Purpose of the position:

In this role you will be the first point of contact for job seekers and clients contacting Ranacare Temps therefore you will be expected to have a warm, friendly and confident telephone matter combined with excellent listening skills.

Job description:

  • Answer incoming calls to the business, take messages and transfer calls
  • Make high-volume calls to Nurses and Carers to invite for Registration
  • Contact clients to take booking requirements
  • Contact candidates to take booking availability
  • CV searching via job boards, social media platforms
  • Upload information to our database and cleanse data
  • Photocopying identification documents and scanning when requested
  • Assisting team with candidate registration meeting (greeting candidates)
  • Arrange interview confirmation/shift bookings via emails on behalf of team
  • Chasing missing compliance documentation via phone and email
  • Chasing references for Nurses and Care Workers
  • Attend team meetings as required to provide updates
  • Order company stationery, promotional merchandise
  • Help organise office Social Events
  • Promote company brand via social media
  • Attend Recruitment Days away from Manchester
  • To carry out any other duties appropriate to this post

Things to consider

The Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): From April 2017 the ANMW was set at £3.50 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.

Training provider

  • Full Business Admin Apprenticeship incorporating NVQ at Level 2, where evidence will be gathered to build a portfolio showing your competency within the role.
  • Functional Skills to include Maths, English and IT (depending on award and previous qualifications) where a tested part will be completed. 
  • Complete a Technical Certificate to underpin your knowledge of working in the sector, this also comes with a tested part.
