Titus Learning provide education technology solutions to international schools and companies around the globe. The successful candidate will be looking to forge a successful career in a Technical Support and Web Development role.
The successful candidate will be working directly with the technical support team to assist with the roll-out of new systems, client training, and responding to and resolving customer support queries.
There are excellent opportunities for personal growth and progression within the company. The ideal candidate will work towards managing their own clients in a particular area/region. They will train in the role allowing them to manage all areas of the software install, from the technical work, to support and training. As the apprentice becomes more comfortable in their role, there will be opportunities for overseas travel in places such as Dubai, China, Hong Kong, and many other locations in Europe, the Middle East and East Asia.


Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

  • Extremely strong computer literacy
  • Excellent interpersonal/communication skills and great telephone manner
  • Self-motivated
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, Javascript or any other programming/development languages
  • Desirable skills:
  • Understanding of Linux and PHP
  • Experience using Moodle and/or other Learning Management Systems in the past

Qualifications required

5 GCSEs at grades A*- C or equivalent (including English Language and Maths).

Future prospects

After successful completion of the Advanced Level 4 Apprenticeship Network Engineer you will have gained quality experience of working and will be offered permanent position within the company.

Things to consider

The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year. The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over. Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

Training provider

The Estio Training IT Apprenticeship programme gives young people the opportunity to get hands on experience in the IT industry whilst still employed in a real paid job with no cost or debt.

Learners will receive individual week blocks of intensive training. Whilst in the workplace, apprentices will also receive continual assessment, and help and guidance from a dedicated trainer who will be there to ensure that they get the most from their work experience.
